Why I Teach Yoga
Yoga Instructor I Creative
I teach yoga to cultivate mind-body awareness, functional mobility, and self-compassion. Through this ancient practice, you may find it easier to connect to your most authentic and creative self.
I incorporate classical yoga elements like breathwork and philosophy in an accessible way while weaving challenging mobility and strength work into creative sequences that inspire beginners and seasoned practitioners alike. I aim to bring authenticity and humor to my teaching to create a sense of lightness, self-acceptance, and community in class.
I am a 500 hour RYT and currently teach for Equinox, NY Loves Yoga, and was one of the lead trainers on Balanced, a virtual fitness platform for older adults. I completed training at Pure Yoga, Uplifted with Brett Larkin, and Prema Yoga Institute in yoga therapeutics.
I am based in Brooklyn and some of my favorite things beside yoga are poems, pastries, and Pitbulls! I have a background in theater and film and am passionate about personal development. People and their stories fascinate me. So don’t be a stranger! Drop me a line and let’s develop your yoga journey together.

Private Lessons
Are you new to yoga and want to get some alignment basics down before taking on a group class? Do you have a specific healing focus that you’d like to address through yoga? Or would you rather just practice in the comfort of your own home and avoid beings that don’t wear deodorant?
Whatever the case may be, I will be your compassionate guide as you navigate your relationship with yoga and your mind/body connection.
